Rev. Alusine Diamond-Suma is the current Country Director for WFD in Sierra Leone. He has overall responsibility for the WFD programmes in the country. Diamond holds a bachelor’s degree in Development and Masters in Sustainable Development from the University of Makeni in Sierra Leone. He has also acquired an Advance Certificate in Post Legislative Scrutiny from the IALS – University of London.
Prior to joining WFD, Diamond was a leading practitioners in Communications for Development where he was the National Coordinator of U-Report Sierra Leone and have served the governance space for over 8yrs. Diamond is a member of the OGP Steering Committee and has been leading parliamentary strides on OGP for over three years.
He is an active advocate for democracy and good governance and run a multiple platforms on youth empowerment and the environment.
