Sammy leads PNAfrica’s work across 13 African countries towards promoting Open Parliaments. He serves as Secretary-General of the Africa Parliamentary Monitoring Organisations Network, and also Head of Secretariat for the Africa Parliamentary Press Network - a platform to support journalists championing Access to Parliamentary Information. He leads on the Africa Open Parliament Index (www.parliamentafrica.com/OPI) - a biennial tool that measures transparency, accountability and citizen’s participation in African Legislatures.
